Prewise seminar autumn got started
Prewise seminar autumn got started in September when Social Media and Gaming –seminar took place in Sokos Hotel Presidentti. The topic of the seminar aroused a lot of interest and the seminar room was full of participants equipped with constructive opinions.
| Social Media and Gaming as a Part of Digital Learning –seminar discussed exploitation of social media and gaming in developing companies competences. Viewpoint in the seminar was business development – what new tools one can genuinely exploit in business environment and how the new tools can be used, what kind of education and forms of education make employees motivated and how they can be motivated to learn new by using the new tools. |

New tools are needed in order to organizations to promote as efficiently as possible the competence development and management. The seminar audience already knew the phenomenon in practice – the new generation is changing, and already has changed, the practices of working life, also on behalf of training and competence development. The means of motivation, such as gaming and communities, can help to create a training offering and solutions that make employees truly motivated.
Prewise Challenge alters the conceptions of e-learning

Prewise´s new product concept, Prewise Challenge, was launched at the seminar. Prewise Challenge is a Learning Community Platform utilizing the concepts of social media and gaming. The platform runs on top of Prewise Gimlet LMS. |
Prewise Challenge connects the possibilities of social media to a new training program where also users work as active content providers. Inside the Challenge, the users create groups that challenge each other and compete for the best possible results.
Prewise Challenge provides efficient methods to follow up the actions of individuals and groups. All the actions will be saved and real time reporting can be created.
Talk about processes and ways of action in October’s seminar
Next Prewise seminar will take place in Thursday 30th October 2008 in Sokos Hotel Presidentti. The subject of the seminar is Efficient Lead-in of Processes and Ways of Action. Direction and Competence Developmet of the Distripution Channel Seminar will be arranged at Tuesday 11th November 2008 in Sokos Hotel Presidentti.
