Sanofi-aventis gets the Pro Forum training portal
Prewise and the drugs company sanofi-aventis have carried out their first cooperation project, implementing the Pro Forum network-based training portal.
Pro Forum is sanofi-aventis’s own high-quality, up-to-date and long-term continuing education programme. Its target group is doctors. In addition to providing the facilities to update one’s professional medical competence, the training programme also offers the opportunity for broad-ranging self-development. The programme is constructed of several intensive seminars, an e-learning section and nationwide symposia.
The Pro Forum training portal in the network environment is used by physicians to obtain information about training and to book onto training courses. In the future, it will also be used as a channel for e-learning content.
Quality and efficiency
The decision to construct the training portal was based on sanofi-aventis’s desire to invest in quality in course material and in training as well as to offer network-based training content in the future.
The aim of the project was to create basic training portal functions that, at a later date, could easily be developed further and used to administrate training events organized for customer target groups. The training administration solutions can be applied to face-to-face training and, in the future, to e-learning that supports face-to-face learning.
Previously, the entire process was managed manually. It is clear that the training portal serves to facilitate and improve the efficiency of the administration process. Prewise also provided the tools that the customer needs to administrate the process and create the required training contents for the network.
In addition to Prewise, Fennomed Oy and the advertising agency EuroRSCG also participated as project partners.
