It is time for e-learning!
The planning and budgeting for the next year is currently underway in the companies. The current economic situation and the changes in the business world raise discussion everywhere.
Our recent meetings with the management of our client companies, the discussion topics been the evaluation of the past year and planning for the future operations, have been rousing despite the general economic situation. The message in the discussions has been clear: improving competence or implementing business changes will not be put on hold. The ways of training and modes of operation are however contemplated more carefully, and efficiency is sought everywhere.
The decisions and actions made by the owners and the management, reflect quickly on the daily program of an employee. The organizational changes, implementing new modes of operation or launching new products create new work duties and thus the areas of responsibility change. The competition of competent employees, quick learners and efficient training methods tightens. But the calendar and clock still has the same pace, so it seems like nowadays there is even less time for learning and adopting. Employees and the competence are still the most important resources of successful companies, and maintaining it is emphasized – especially during difficult times.
E-learning offers such exquisite advantages that this training method cannot be neglected.
Our client companies have successfully used elearning in improving the employees’ and retail dealers’ competence in product training, sales and customer support as well as in business change implementations. Trainings, which used to require face-to-face gatherings and travelling, have been replaced by elearning campaigns with great and measureable results.
Digital environment, internet and mobile now offer attractive possibilities to companies. Internet’s new techniques combine knowledge sharing, testing, competition and social action in an interesting and motivating way.
The trips needed for face-to-face trainings can be replaced by online trainings when possible. This also serves our shared wish of a more ecological method when useless travelling decreases. The needed and essential training and implementation measures can be carried out, even if done cost effectively.
