Complex change – threat and possibility in the same package

Change always entails opportunity, it is said. Change is the beginning of something new and often considered necessary in order to attain challenging targets. However, the changes in working life also involve many sorts of pain: fear, uncertainty, and discontinuity. At their worst, these can rob the entire change of its effectiveness and make it a force with actual adverse impact on business operations.

At times, we are also faced with the “change is a joke at our place” attitude of more experienced employees and experts. And not always without reason.
