Delivering the last mile of change

Adopting new ideas and changing your own ways of working is often surprisingly difficult. All of us have experiences of situations in which it has seemed particularly painful to change an old, proven way to a new and strange one, even if the change were justified and understandable when reasoned. Accepting and understanding change in the middle of a hurry and everyone’s individual work pressures is not easy and always involves pain and resistance.

For the past year, we have had the opportunity to be a part of our customers’ many different sorts of change and development projects. The projects have varied in their themes, duration, as well as extent. What they have all had in common, however, is the need for organizations to change and develop. Together with our customers, we have searched for remedies to the pain caused by change.

Throughout the spring we have also tuned our own way of working to better meet our customers’ needs. In practice, this has translated into focusing Prewise’s strategy and expanding the angle of its approach. The effects have been visible in, among other things, changes in our organization and ways of working as well as the renewal of our brand. In other words, our company is living in the midst of change, challenged with driving through change in a growing and internationalizing organization of experts. Sound familiar?

Delivering the last mile of change” summarizes Prewise’s promise to its customers. We want to participate in the development of our customers’ business and ensure that well planned and prepared reforms are transformed into practical action. An understanding of issues taken to the individual level is absolutely necessary for implementing ideas. Strategy is transformed into action and realized only through everyone’s daily work.

The web and the mobile medium have become effective operational environments for our customers to implement change – this is testified to by over 20,000 satisfied participants in our various customer organizations who have been going through training packages implemented by us during the spring.

At Prewise, summer does not stand for a complete slow down. However, we will try to spend July primarily vacationing and on a chance to catch our breaths, so that we will be ready for the new challenges waiting for us in August.
