The Challenger: Prewise Gimlet LMS

In the summer, Prewise’s new learning environment, Prewise Gimlet LMS, was launched as the operating platform for extensive customer training projects.
Many of the trainees were geographically dispersed around the globe, and this multi-lingual operating environment gave us particularly valuable user experience. At its most extensive, the system was simultaneously used in eight different languages by trainees around the world studying the same content.
Both the trainees’ and the content producers’ feedback on the software was very positive.
Cost savings and results reporting thanks to an efficient administrative process
The autumn will see an acceleration in pace when the Prewise Gimlet LMS system comes on full stream and faces the challenge of assisting at least ten new customers to manage their processes of change.
User experiences have shown that we have succeeded in the objective set for the development project. The system’s administrative tools can be used to navigate thousands of users smoothly through their course material. The system user is monitored individually, without extensive administrative resources, by means of automated invitations, reminders and comments sent by both e-mail and SMS.
Prewise Gimlet LMS has collected data on hundreds of thousands of learning episodes and edited them into comprehensible and concise reports for the purchasers of the training packages.
The product development work has progressed to a stage where we can now concentrate on improving the user-friendliness and functionality of the system. Because the system now incorporates the required volume of features, the development team is able to take a breather in that respect.
However, progress does not stop here. We are expecting at least two new small software versions and the next more extensive, amended version will be ready for distribution by February/March 2007.
You are very welcome to acquaint yourselves with the Prewise Gimlet LMS system. Get in touch, and we will be pleased to arrange a demonstration and see how we can be of assistance.
