Account Manager Laura Säiläkivi likes her job where she gets to meet new people, and she is always ready for new challenges. Positively thinking Laura values new challenges and work place’s good ambiance.
- A good place to work is such where every employee is valued, the management is trustworthy and competent, the staff has good community spirit and there is a joy of working. Naturally good work benefits are a part of work place criteria as well.
What do you expect from your employer?
- The things I mentioned before. In addition to these I value the challenges in work, and respecting employees and their work. I also value a healthy and close work community. Prewise has a good team spirit and everybody can really collaborate!
During the past three and half years that I’ve worked for Prewise I have got more responsibility in our organization and got involved to our company’s inner development projects and through that I have also been able to support our foreign offices’ operations.
Prewise supports its employees in their different stages of life. You can always negotiate for your days off and Prewise is very flexible with holidays.
The time before summer is often a very busy time for us. Despite of this I got to keep a proper holiday during my wedding, and both the employer and colleagues supported me by redistributing my work duties.
During summers Laura spends her free time by sailing.
Your typical workday?
- As an Account Manager I am closely involved in our client projects’ management. I am also in charge of our company’s production management.
My every workday is different and has challenges. My typical workday includes internal meetings, client meetings, project management, communication with clients and project planning.
What do you like the most in your job?
- In my job I like most the fact that I get to meet new people. Every workday is different, and I can always find new and challenging projects. I could add this up to work diversity. My work is great also because of the great work community. It’s great to come to work!
What kind of colleagues you get at Prewise?
At Prewise we have a really diverse group of professionals in several areas of competence. Thanks to a good team spirit and social events, I have made many really good friends here at Prewise, with who I also spent free time with.
What have you discovered from yourself during the years at Prewise?
I have noticed how I am able to constantly learn something new both from clients as well as from my co-workers. I truly enjoy working with clients and with the different Prewise teams. I have also noticed how I have developed in so called “multitasking” which is fundamental to this job.
What motivates you to give your best contribution to work?
- Success is a great reward, and so is the good feedback from the employer and colleagues.
For this year I’m wishing for lots of new challenges and interesting new projects!
