Memory and Heart e-review to highlight the essential facts
An online review was prepared to act as material for physicians to refer to when treating people with memory problems. The material reviews the key facts presented in the Memory and Heart Collegium 2006 events, which were organised by Novartis.
Last year, Novartis organised events for doctors in various locations around Finland, entitled Memory and Heart Collegium 2006. Experts were in charge of the events, which were constructed around a DVD presentation compiled from statements and speeches made by top specialists, followed by open discussion.
Usefulness and user-friendliness attract people
Prewise produced a twenty-minute Memory and Heart e-review for Novartis, to act as material subsequent to the events. The goal of the e-review was to bring sustainability to communication and publicity concerning Alzheimer’s Disease and to sharpen the role of Novartis as an expert in the subject area, and to achieve all this while retaining the physicians’ interest.
The purpose of the e-review was to lengthen the life-cycle of the material handed out during the Memory and Heart events and promote its continued use. At the same time, the attraction of Novartis’s electronic channels was boosted by the provision of interesting and useful online content.
The interactive and tangible method of implementation served to make the information more interesting, as did the easy online access.
Added value to sales
The e-learning package was implemented as an ASP service, using the tools of the Prewise Gimlet LMS system. The medical reps were able to use the system to monitor the level of activity and the reactions of their own clients and to compare, for instance, the study behaviour of the target groups in different areas.
The sales people will be able to use the study results in their own internal evaluation and comparisons. The tool also allows managers in sales to monitor sales activities and results region by region and rep by rep.
