Giant changes with small steps
A developing and growing company is constantly subjected to change and development. The company management and organisation must be able to simultaneously perform long-term strategic planning and agile movements to guarantee success on the changing market. We are surrounded by giant changes of direction taking place in business: a mobile phone manufacturer changes into an Internet-based service provider, a paper manufacturer into a bio forest industry enterprise, and a milk production company expands into the welfare service branch.
The transitions are great, but the road from the strategy workshops to practical implementation is often surprisingly long and winding. In order to execute great changes, ultimately the attitudes and actions must be changed on an individual level, and strategy is truly implemented by the small steps that are taken in our daily work.
We have been able to participate in all of these change processes. Together with our customers we have searched for and developed new ways of realising plans, and been extremely successful in this. Prewise's role has developed from an e-learning provider towards a genuine partnership, which means that we take part in planning the entire spectrum of the change implementation by utilising the Actionable Change™ process developed by Prewise. At the same time our method and tool selection has expanded, and we are using the Prewise Gimlet™ system more often to permit efficient use of digital channels in learning.
To support the readiness of individuals to participate in the change process, we have launched an efficient package of off-the-shelf courses this spring. The Three Points courses are designed to provide concise basic information packages on the key areas of business competence and personal skills. The course selection will be complemented in the autumn, at which time we will also open a web shop where courses can be easily purchased.
